Important: Ally Is Not a Medical Service
Ally Health is a health education and wellness tool. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Ally does not diagnose any medical condition.
- Ally does not prescribe medications or treatments.
- Ally does not provide medical advice.
- AI-generated insights are educational and informational only. They are not clinically validated for your individual situation.
- Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any health decisions based on information from Ally.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately. Do not rely on Ally for urgent or emergency health situations.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Ally Health application, website (ally.health), and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Terrace Tech Labs ("Ally," "we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What Ally Does
Ally is a preventive health intelligence tool that:
- Extracts and organizes biomarker data from lab reports you upload.
- Connects to wearable devices (via Apple HealthKit and Google Health Connect) to read health and fitness metrics.
- Uses AI (powered by Google Gemini and MedGemma) to generate educational summaries, trend analysis, and health insights.
- Provides an AI chatbot that answers health-related questions based on your data and general medical knowledge.
All of these features are designed to help you understand your health data, not to replace your doctor.
2. AI Limitations and Accuracy
Our AI features are powerful, but they have real limitations you should understand:
- AI can make mistakes. The AI models we use (Google Gemini and MedGemma) are advanced but not infallible. They may misinterpret lab values, miss context, or generate inaccurate summaries.
- Lab report parsing is not 100% accurate. Different labs use different formats, units, and naming conventions. Our AI may occasionally extract a value incorrectly or fail to parse certain fields. Always verify critical values against your original report.
- AI responses are general, not personalized medical advice. The chatbot generates responses based on your data and general health knowledge, but it does not know your full medical history, medications, allergies, or clinical context.
- Trends are observational, not diagnostic. When Ally shows that a biomarker is trending up or down, it is presenting data — not making a clinical assessment. A doctor is needed to interpret what trends mean for you.
- Wearable data has inherent limitations. Heart rate, sleep, and activity data from consumer wearables are estimates and may not be medically accurate.
We provide AI-generated health insights on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or clinical relevance of any AI output. You use AI features at your own discretion and risk.
3. Your Account
- You can use Ally with an anonymous account or sign in with Google.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and device. If you sign in with Google, you are responsible for the security of your Google account.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Ally.
- One person, one account. Do not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.
- You can delete your account at any time from within the app. This will permanently remove all your data from our systems within 30 days.
4. Your Responsibilities
By using Ally, you agree to:
- Upload only your own lab reports. Do not upload reports belonging to other people without their explicit consent. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any data you upload.
- Verify important data. Always check extracted biomarker values against your original lab reports, especially for critical health decisions.
- Consult healthcare professionals. Use Ally as a complement to — not a replacement for — professional medical care. Discuss any concerns or abnormal results with your doctor.
- Use the Service lawfully. Do not use Ally for any illegal purpose, to harm others, or in any way that violates these Terms.
- Not reverse engineer or abuse the Service. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or exploit the Service or its AI models. Do not use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal app usage.
- Not misuse the AI chatbot. Do not attempt to manipulate the chatbot into providing medical diagnoses, prescriptions, or advice it is not designed to give.
5. Health Data and Privacy
Your health data is sensitive, and we treat it that way. Please read our Privacy Policy for complete details on how we collect, use, store, and protect your data.
Key points:
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use your data for advertising.
- Original lab report files are deleted after parsing. We keep only the extracted data.
- Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- You can delete all your data at any time.
